Greenway Art Prize. The greenway art prize art est have been proud presenting partners of the greenway since it’s inception in 2010. Sustainability was on my mind researching the cooks river and inner city waterways.
The cooks river small sculpture prize was awarded to artist hannah carroll harris for her work, ‘your other half (fracture #2)’. The winner of the 2017 greenway open art prize is jody graham who has won a $5,000 prize package for her work ‘drawn from discarded’. This year, the fishers ghost prize run by the campbelltown arts centre will include helen brancatisano and jutta fuhrmans, and the greenway art prize hosted by art.est will have karen ball’s work included.

I am excited to announce that i have been named the winner of the 2020 greenway open art prize, which includes a two week solo exhibition at the art est gallery in leichhardt in 2021. This year the art prize received a record number of entries and sally is honoured to be included in the list of finalists. “mud crab” blues is a sculptural wall piece created from a combination of clay, acrylic resin and acrylic paint mounted on a wooden circular support.

They have a photography section and i was short listed for the prize this year, but not a winner. The greenway is an inspirational place for arts projects and community involvement. There are many art awards available to australian artists, and open bite members are very active in their pursuit of them.
